sleepy, exhausted, tired...

This is how John and I felt this morning. We are all so exhausted, especially Mommy and Daddy. Jackson got RSV last week and has had a nasty cough to boot. We could hardly pull ourselves out of bed this morning. Despite our monitors being on full blast on either side of the bed, we can't help but feel the need to check on our little sickee across the hall. We both have been checking on Jackson throughout the night to make sure he is breathing okay and to fight the parental instincts that if you just sleep with him in your arms you'll both sleep better...Wrong! My saving grace is that he is a happy sick boy, he is all smiles and coo's inbetween all the harsh coughs and drippiness. And fortunately, I think we have seen the worst of it and he is starting to get better. Thus far Daddy has warred off all the coughing and sneezing we have thrown at him. But unfortunately, Mommy has it too!
Any suggestions on how to get a good nights sleep is very much appreiciated.

On our visit to see Ryan and Emily they took us sightseeing. I was grateful that they would play tourist with us as they have seen these sights numerous times. It really was such a memorable vacation.
Sisters. . .me and Nataile standing by the Liberty Bell, call me stupid but I didn't know that the Liberty Bell wasn't always known as the Liberty Bell. I found it interesting that it wasn't until 1839 that they decided to offically name it so.
Me and mom outside of Independence Hall. It was so much fun having mom there with us, she was a big help as I ventured my 1st trip with Jackson by myself.
Me and my traveling companion in Independence Hall. He was asleep in the carseat almost the whole time we were sightseeing, while this was a blessing, I wanted to have so pictures to prove that he was actually there. It was fun my little buddy with me. He was such a trooper the whole time, and hardly made a peep the whole plane-ride both ways. I'm such a lucky mommy.

TWINS! This is Ryan and I sitting in the middle of a food court in the indoor swap meet in Philly. The babies decided it was chow time, so we fed the kiddies while everyone else looked around. We got a lot of curious looks, and one lady asked us if they were twins! We tried Jackson on some soy formula, by his expression you can tell he didn't like it. It made me laugh to see a 3 month old gag at the taste of something. Thanks again Ryan and Emily for the fun times! We love you.

Cousins

This is the first time Jackson met his cousin, Sage. Also the first time Auntie Emily and Uncle Ryan met Jackson too. He is so lucky to be so loved.
Look how tall they both are. Sage is so pettite, while Jackson is solid and long. I think he is a little nervous. Mommy is glad that girls make him nervous! She had so much to tell Jackson, just like a true little girl.
She wanted to touch his face and taste his fingers.
Finally, a happy face from Jackson, maybe next time we can get 2 smiley faces at once.
He had so much fun at Uncle Ryan's.

Munchkin

We went to Philly to visit Ryan, Emily and Sage. It was so fun to see my only niece on this side of the family for the 2nd time! I loved seeing her smiley face, she is such a happy girl. Ryan endearingly calls her, Munchkin-of-my-heart. It was so fun to see them and especially to see my big brother being a push over for his cute little girl.
Auntie Natalie and Sage.
She is into touching faces, it makes me laugh how she goes straight for the face,
slobbery hands and all.
Here we are at Constitution Hall.
Ryan and Emily let Jackson use their big carseat stroller, so Sage was bundled up in her homemade sleeping bag. I was impressed at how resourceful and creative Emily and her family are with all of their fun ideas.

Auntie Sharon and Sage . . . stealing kisses!

We miss you Munchkin, you can come and play at our house anytime!
