Happy 6 months Jacks!

My big boy is approx. 18.11 lbs. (75%) and 28 inches (90%).
You are always wiggling and trying to grab at things. If I turn your back for a second you will try to find something that you probably shouldn't be playing with in your hands!
We love how happy and giggly you are, you bring such a happy presence to our home.
You sleep really good through the night...most of the time.
You can sit up by yourself for several minutes and tend to prefer sitting verses lying down now.
Your favorite toy is the bouncer and the teething ring.
Just 2 days ago we can finally see a tooth that has been bothering you for quite a while.
You like to eat...everything you can get. You have eaten baby rice, oatmeal, squash, sweet potato, and carrots.
Your hair is so cute, it just sticks straight up despite Mommy's best effort on Sunday to comb it down!
We love to play with you and you try to get our attention every moment possible. You have learned so much in such a little amount of time. We are so proud of you and love seeing you grow up. We feel so blessed to have you in our home!

HAPPY EASTER!!!

For Jackson's 1st eatser he got this cute little easter outfit, a book and some baby food. He woke up at 6:00 so we got to experience early Easter excitment. He helped me hide easter eggs for daddy to find and even hid one in his hand the whole time! Afters a surprisingly pleasant time at church for me, we went to Baka, grandma, and Grandpa Andersen's house for dinner. He ate squash for the first time and loved it! Then he played while John and I looked for our easter bags at Baka's. After playing with Aunt Karly and Lauren, Uncle Derek and Dave, his cousins, Great-grandparents, Baka, and Grandpa, he decided quite vocally that it was time to go home and go to bed. It really was a fun Easter holiday.Jacks can sit up...for a while that is. This was the last of my 8-10 pictures, he did really well.

We caught John in the clerks office, church is usually a busy time for John now that he is the 1st couselor in the bishopbric. I was so happy that we got a smiley face from Jacks.
Finally, we want to acknowledge our Savior for He is the true reason for the holiday. We are so grateful to be members of his church and to have the Gospel in our lives. We are so blest that he sacrificed for our sins that we may become better people. How lucky we are to feel of his love and have another holiday to reflect on his Ressurection.
