Jackson is VERY busy now that he can crawl and pull himself up! It's so cute because it seems like he has his day planned of places he wants to go and things he wants to explore. For example, when he wakes up he likes to make sure that everything is put away, then redecorates for me every few hours. "Cleaning up" is a far distant phrase that doesn't seem to have meaning anymore. He pulls himself up on just about everything that he can get a good grip on, and somethings that he cannot get a good grip on. Just last week he was successful on pulling himself up onto a mirror and gave himself a good morning kiss, adorable! He is working on developing bigger muscles by doing honest-to-goodness-full-on-pull-ups on my piano and the church pews. I am very impressed, and a little nervous. He is starting to understand the phrase, "No, no, no!" and "not for Jackson,"(...and yes I did say understand, not follow.) His favorite toy is the gloworm that we affectionatly call his girlfriend, Patty. She gets lots of loves. He also loves to go to any willing people in the stores and at church and give them hugs and kisses. We can't get through a store without someone saying how happy and smiley he is, I love it! He loves to be outside and see kids playing and running around. He has made many neighborhood friends, especially with the little girls. They love to come over and give him hugs and play with him and his toys. Other 9 month tid bits are his nicknames, "Jacks," "Bubby," and "Busy." He has 3 teeth, 1 on top and 2 on bottom and is working on pushing the 2nd tooth on top through. He loves to swim and be anywhere where mommy and daddy are. John and I are so happy to have him in our home and feel so blessed to have him as our own.
