What I have learned as a Parent . . .

I have learned a few things in the 3 months that I have been a parent. Small things, some that I did not know were part of the job of being a mom.

Such as how to make funny faces . . .

Being a human spit-up rag . . .

The innumerous daily outfit changes . . .
usually about 3 or 4 a day!

The fun toys that mommy gets to play with,
not baby so much yet . . .

Folding little people socks, shirts and pants . . .

What once was weekly laundry is now mountains of laundry daily . . .

at least 1 load a day!

Taking naps whenever and wherever . . .

But my favorite things that I have learned are that
I get to look into those beautiful blue eyes every morning . . .

That he loves us unconditionally . . .

And we have never learned to love so much and so meaningfully . . .

Isn't life wonderful as a parent!

We completely feel the same way. I do at least 1 load a day-it gets worse when you have 2. I also have done lots of onesie changes. Many one right after another. Isn't it wonderful though? Your little guy is getting so big!

I love this Shar! So cute! He is growing so big and is starting to get his own look and not just the newborn look! Isn't it fun being a MOM! Even despite the other things! HA HA HA!

Cute pics! I laughed at the sock picture especially. It was great to have you guys over today - we need to get together more often!

What an insightful post!! You are such a great mom and John is an equally great dad!! I miss being with you guys. Next time I see Jackson he will probably be walking. Make sure to tell him his Aunt Nan loves him. I miss his flirty smiles and baby converstaions. He has stolen my heart ...just like he did to his mommy!!
