That's my boy...

This is Jackson during "quiet time" as he tells me that he is not tired and just needs a toy to play with....10 minutes later he was bums up!
 I try to take Jackson and Bradley to storytime at the library every week. It really is kind of a chore as Jackson is very mobile, sociable and doesn't like to sit for very long. I like to think that he is practicing how to sit still, we still have a lot of practice to do.
The other week he turned on his charm in a way that I have never seen before. My crazy Jackson finally sat down and listened to 2 stories in a row without moving (a record). I wondered why until I saw that he was sitting next to this cute little 4-5 year old girl in a cute green dress. After the second story my 2 1/2 year old boy slyly puts his arm around this little girl. I laughed a little and quietly told him to move his arm, as the little girl was giving him the what-in-the-world-are-you-doing look. He stubbornly tells me, "I want it!" I try to quietly enforce the rules and get another, "I want it!" The little girl didn't seem bothered, but than I saw Jackson start to pucker up and go in for the kill. I said, a little louder this time, "Jackson leave her alone." all while trying to surpress my laughter. It stalls him enough not to kiss this poor little girl who is now just trying to ignore him and listen to the last story. A few comically stressful minutes go by and story time ends without any smooching! I just don't know what I am in for with my social little butterfly! :}
licking the beaters...yum!

That is so funny Sharon. My goodness, you do have a little lady lover on your hands. I think he'll love having a sister someday.
