We practiced really hard for the Easter Egg Hunts this year. We started pulling out the easter eggs at the beginning of April and tried to coach Jackson how to pick them up and put them in his basket. He got the hang of things just a few days before his first hunt at Dan's Grocery Store.
But once he saw his competition, he was mezmerized and couldn't pay attention to the tasks at hand.(...namely getting candy for himself, Mommy and Daddy. You parents out there know it's true :)
He got his picture with the Easter bunny and we saw a repeat of Christmas, tears and more tears. But this bunny is a little scary looking, can't really blame him.

Next the hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Andersen's. It was not as intense and we were sure he would come home with spoils for all....and he did. But how do you not at Grandma's house, right!

Jackson and Mason finding the grass more interesting at the moment.
Our Easter Egg hunters have graduated to another year of fun filled competition. And I look forward to it too! Of course family, friends and General Conference made the holiday all the more better. Until next year!

That's so funny you were coaching Jackson. We should've thought of that. Sage just kept running around excited about the 'balls' but not really picking them up.
I was thinking about you today at church, wondering how you're feeling?? We will be getting another ultrasound tomorrow. I am excited about this because I've been wanting to see her again. However, the reasoning is because I was measuring smaller this week than the DR. wanted. She isn't too worried, just wants to make sure things are fine. So I am hoping it's just a good excuse to see her. DR. Kinghorn just keeps telling me, that I'm just probably going to be blessed with having a smaller baby. Anyway, hope you're all doing well..sorry this is a really long comment lol
I didn't know that Dan's did an easter egg hunt. Was it crazy there? All the hunts I wanted to take our kids to had many kids participating and I didn't want J & M to be trampled on.
Thank you for your nice comment on our blog. It too is bittersweet for me. I don't know about Mike. We have been here for so long that it will be weird to be somewhere else. Hopefully things work out for us somewhere :)
